Purpose:
The purpose of our Anti-Virus Program is to help clients reduce their risks of being infected by computer viruses, Trojan Horses,  and worms.  Although the Program alone will not eliminate your risks, when used in conjunction with other prudent in-house security measures it will reduce your chances of infection.  The Virus Sentinel_SM is a synthesis of various Internet and other “Open Source” resources and designed to provide timely warning when Windows 95, 98, Millennium, 2000 Professional and XP operating systems are vulnerable and/or threatened by suspected viruses, Trojan Horses or worms.  In the interest of timeliness and brevity, only identifiable characteristics are provided and are intended to serve as a “heads-up” alert.  These virus alerts aid subscribers in maintaining a much higher degree of vigilance against viral threats.
